I hit a nerve with the idea of opening
Charlie's American Port Running Company.
One Merchant Marine Magician and one
Coast Guard Magician voiced assent that it
was, overall, a good idea.
Two fellows said politics and magic don't
mix. True enough, but tough noogies. Publish your
own newsletter if you don't like it.
Besides, only two negative responses out of
my humungous customer list isn't bad.

One thing that's sure to get a magic book on
my library shelf displayed prominently at eye-level
is if it is a big, fat meaty-looking tome.
A thousand pages is more likely to get there
than the fanciest binding.
No DVD has ever made it into my library, they are
all hidden away in a cabinet...until now.
