Should I Quit The Magic Store?

Career Dilemma!

The Arab US ports deal has
me in a quandary.

Should I give up CharliesMagic.com, the
internet's first and oldest magic shop for a new
calling?

I'm seriously considering starting a new firm,
The American Port-Running Company.

I find it hard to believe there are no American companies
that can make phone calls to schedule unloading crews,
and trucking/railroad take-aways on behalf of shippers.

We have to go overseas for that? Is that cheaper too?

And, in the case of Baltimore, just what does the Maryland
Port Authority do anyway? Or New York's Port Authority?

Does this means Jewish people won't be allowed to take
busses that go throught the Port Authority bus terminal
anymore? That could be awkward.

I think CharliesMagic.com, venerable an institution though it is,
has to take second place to running America's vital commerce, don't you?

We need an American company that can make those phone calls.

I'm not naive, I've built the bribes necessary into the fee structure.
The executive branch took a lot of heat for not "consulting Congress".

"Consulting Congress" means the executive branch had to call Dubai
and tell them, "It's going to take a little longer and not be as cheap, Congress
wants their bribes too!"

It's working...already there's been some back-pedaling in Congress...
"Well, we don't think we can legally do anything to stop it now."

They pass the laws, how can they not do not anything legally?

See, bribes work!

Royal Road To Card Magic DVD - Pre-Publication Special

L&L's latest DVD release is a 5-DVD set by Paul Wilson that brings the
classic card magic book to life.

In the olden days, like last year, 5 DVDs would have set you back $150.
The market has gotten resistant. This set lists for $80.

You can pre-order this set from me until Saturday, March 11, 2006
for just $64 plus $2 shipping.
After that the price goes up nearly $10.

Miracles From The Sock Drawer

Now here is a DVD, not from a twenty-something imitating Blaine,
but from a Derek Dingle protege who has been around the block quite
a few thousand times.

On this 5 and-a-half hour DVD, Paul Gallagher shows you over 50
routines for the magic props you have sitting around in the drawer.
This kind of information only comes from years of learning and absorbing.

I learned someting new every few minutes about standard magic store
items. There is a routine with the Royal plastic cup and ball set that
totally fooled me, for instance.

Over 5 and a half hours of clever and inventive routines for the magic
you have "socked" away! A treasure trove of ideas! Click here for more info!
